Finance Business Partner - Cashflow

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to join our team as a Finance Business Partner - Cashflow. This critical role will focus on enhancing liquidity, cash generation, and working capital performance across our organisation.

Operating within a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment, you will be at the forefront of robust cash forecasting, daily liquidity management, and strengthening treasury controls. Your work will directly support the company in delivering on its strategic goals.

This role is much more than traditional treasury operations. As a trusted business partner, you'll play a pivotal role in collaborating with teams across the organisation. You will challenge assumptions, improve forecast accuracy, and encourage greater financial accountability. Importantly, you will empower senior stakeholders by providing meaningful insights, ensuring cash performance remains a top priority in every decision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of and improve short- and medium-term cashflow forecasting, including the 13-week cashflow process and longer-term liquidity planning across the Group.
  • Manage daily cash positioning, liquidity, and funding activities while driving effective working capital management.
  • Support the oversight of lending facilities, banking relationships, and handling requests from financial institutions and lenders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Finance and Operations to enhance forecast accuracy, challenge financial assumptions, and ensure accountability for cash performance.
  • Deliver clear and insightful reporting on liquidity, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership teams to support informed decision-making.
  • Strengthen treasury governance and controls while identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and cash generation capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Accountant - ACCA, CIMA or ACA
  • Extensive experience in Treasury, Cashflow Management, FP&A or Working Capital in a multi-site or multi-entity business environment.
  • A strong understanding of cashflow forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital principles.
  • Background in managing banking relationships, lending facilities, or working capital financing arrangements.
  • A commercial mindset with the confidence and ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders constructively and effectively.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving expertise, coupled with strong attention to detail and advanced Excel skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment, juggling multiple competing priorities.

Salary

£60,000 to £65,000 basic plus up to 10% annual bonus and full benefits package to include Hybrid working (2 days a week office based in Leicester).
