Role Overview

Due to Wise’s rapid growth, we’re seeking an experienced Finance professional to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in London. This role will play a pivotal part in guiding our fast-growing business while collaborating closely with the Finance Business Partnering team—supporting Marketing teams in budget management and performance optimisation.

Your role will involve data-driven decision making, strategic storytelling, and stakeholder reporting to ensure sustainable, market-leading growth.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Guidance & Forecasting

  • Lead Marketing re-forecasting processes, ensuring accurate growth projections and operating cost forecasts.
  • Improve financial models and reports to provide deeper, actionable insights and support data-backed investment decisions.

Performance Analysis & KPI Review

  • Review key marketing metrics (e.g., ROI and CPA) to spot trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Conduct deep dives on financial/business metrics, comparing actuals vs. forecasted performance to optimise clarity and strategy.

Strategic Partnership with Marketing

  • Partner with Marketing leads as a trusted advisor, helping them interpret finance data for impactful, cost-conscious decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven FP&A experience directly supporting a Marketing function, with close partnership to leads and executives.
  • Strong understanding of marketing investment principles—proven ability to evaluate efficiency and growth impact.
  • Hands-on experience with financial modelling and end-to-end cost analysis, including dashboards and configurations.
  • Extensive experience with spend controls, implementation and monitoring for operational excellence.
  • Analytical expertise: Proficient in SQL for data extraction, Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and interpreting financial trends.
