Finance Business Partner - Omnis Investments
The opportunity
This is a high-impact Finance Business Partner role sitting within our Omnis Investments (asset management) business, part of a vertically integrated wealth management group backed by Bain Capital.
You will partner directly with senior leaders across product, distribution and investment operations – bringing commercial insight, challenge and value creation thinking in a complex funds / asset management environment.
This role is designed for an ambitious finance professional looking to accelerate their career, gaining exposure to:
Asset & fund management economics Strategic decision making in a PE-backed business End-to-end value creation across a wealth platform
We are specifically targeting individuals who are currently or have recently operated within the asset / fund management sector who are looking to broaden their impact and step closer to a senior leadership trajectory.
This role can be based in our London and Swindon office, with 3 days a week required in the office.

What You’ll Be Doing
Act as the lead Finance Business Partner for Omnis Investments, supporting senior stakeholders across investment, product and commercial functions. Drive value creation initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance profitability, margins and capital efficiency. Provide commercial insight on AuM, flows, fee income, product performance and cost base. Lead strategic planning cycles (budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling), with a focus on market volatility and growth assumptions. Build and challenge investment cases, product launches, pricing strategies and operational initiatives. Deliver clear, actionable insight (not just reporting) through high-quality analysis and storytelling. Support Value for Money assessment, fund profitability and regulatory considerations within asset management. Influence decision-making at senior level, providing constructive challenge and strategic perspective. Collaborate across Finance (FP&A, Revenue, Commercial Finance) to ensure a joined-up view of business performance. Help raise the bar in finance capability, setting a new benchmark for partnering within the function.
What will you need to succeed?
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years PQE. Proven Finance Business Partnering experience in asset management, fund management or wealth / platform businesses (highly desirable). Strong understanding of: Asset / fund management revenue models (AuM-driven income). Product economics and profitability. Commercial drivers within a wealth / investment platform. Advanced financial modelling and scenario analysis capability. Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving decision-making. Experience working in a complex, regulated financial services environment (e.g. ICARA awareness advantageous). Ambition to progress toward senior finance leadership (FD trajectory). Why us?
