Finance Business Partner
Location: London

Executive Overview:
A high-growth, technology-driven organization is seeking an commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join its finance leadership team. Working as an integral partner to senior stakeholders, this role is designed for a proactive financial professional who thrives on turning complex data into actionable strategic insights.
At the core of the business is an expanding Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) operational model. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving scalable growth, elevating financial visibility, and unlocking value across key SaaS metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Advisory & Commercial Growth
- Serve as a key financial advisor to department leaders and the Senior Management Team, aligning operational planning with overall corporate strategy.
- Partner closely with the Head of Finance to build, refine, and advance strategic financial models that drive decision-making.
- Evaluate new business initiatives, commercial projects, and investment opportunities to support long-term expansion.

SaaS Metrics & Advanced Analytics
- Champion the tracking, analysis, and reporting of key operational and SaaS performance metrics to maximize strategic alignment.
- Collaborate directly with the Data Team to embed financial insights into the broader corporate data architecture, leveraging cutting-edge analytics tools.
- Oversee the development and enhancement of interactive dashboards and trading packs to deliver high-impact monthly insights across the business.
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the end-to-end annual budgeting process and manage dynamic quarterly re-forecasting across assigned operational units.
- Monitor financial performance through continuous variance analysis, identifying trends, operational risks, and growth opportunities.
Process Leadership & Team Guidance
- Direct and mentor a dedicated Finance Analyst to foster high performance and professional development.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance workflows, embedding industry best practices in FP&A, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile
Required Experience & Qualifications
- SaaS Acumen: A strong, practical understanding of SaaS metrics and subscription-based revenue models.
- Professional Qualification: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Track Record: A preference for prior experience in a Finance Business Partnering or advanced FP&A role.
- Data Expertise: Proven capability working with large datasets to extract strategic insights, accompanied by advanced spreadsheet and database proficiency.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience utilizing Power BI or similar BI tools to create executive-level dashboards.
- High analytical acumen combined with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into compelling narratives for non-finance stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
