Your Role
You will play a key role in partnering with operational and senior leadership teams, providing financial insight, analysis and commercial challenge to help drive business performance. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support decision making, identify opportunities for growth and efficiency, and contribute to the achievement of both operational and financial objectives across the Industrial business.
This role is a full-time Monday – Friday role based in our offices in Chipping Warden.
What Are You Going To Do?
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be a key member of the FVL Industrial management team, providing strategic financial support and commercial insight to help drive operational and business performance. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will use data and financial analysis to influence decision making, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and sustainable growth.
Working closely with operational leaders, you will have a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance analysis, ensuring the business has a clear understanding of financial results, risks and opportunities. You will provide meaningful commentary and recommendations that support informed decision making, while helping to embed a strong financial awareness across the operation. Through proactive business partnering, robust financial controls and a continuous improvement mindset, you will play a pivotal role in delivering financial targets, supporting strategic initiatives and driving long-term success across the FVL Industrial division.

What Are We Looking For?
Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that the successful candidate is a qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), with previous experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Management Accounting or Commercial Finance role. Experience within a logistics, supply chain, industrial or operational environment would be highly advantageous.
You will be commercially minded with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, you will have proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance analysis, alongside a track record of influencing and challenging stakeholders to drive business performance. We are looking for a proactive self-starter with excellent communication and relationship building skills, who can confidently partner with operational teams and senior leaders. A continuous improvement mindset, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
