Commercial Finance Business Partner

Totum Partners is working with an international Law who is seeking to hire a Commercial Finance Business Partner to work in their Manchester office. The employer is looking for applicants currently working in Legal or Professional Services firms (notably Accountancy Practices or Consultancies) with strong commercial finance and business partnering experience. They are offering hybrid working, with 2 days in office, 3 days working from home and a competitive salary.

Commercial Finance Business Partner Duties:

  • Business partner with senior, non-financial stakeholders, presenting analysis findings to inform strategic decision-making
  • Undertake profitability analysis, identifying areas of underperformance and suggesting strategies to enhance revenue and profitability
  • Lead on pricing analysis and creation of bespoke pricing models and proposals
  • Presentation of pricing models/proposals to Partners and senior stakeholders for client negotiations
  • Enhance firm-wide understanding of profitability and revenue drivers to maximise profits
  • Monthly analysis and presentation of assigned departments' financial performance
  • Lead budgeting and (re)forecasting processes
  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting projects

Commercial Finance Business Partner Experience:

  • Applicants must be working in a Legal or Professional Services firm
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • Advanced business partnering and commercial finance experience with exposure presenting to and partnering with senior stakeholders (ideally non-financial stakeholders)
  • Experience with pricing analysis and B2B pricing work is highly desirable
  • Strong financial modelling and Excel skills
