Finance Business Partner

South London | £60,000 to £62,000 + Insane Benefits + Full Study Support | Hybrid, 2 days in the office

This is one of the most exciting roles being recruited at this level across the UK.

Commercial exposure, brand, people, culture, progression and fun - it honestly ticks all of these boxes and more.

We're working with a household retail / consumer business that has finance right at the heart of decision making.

They're looking for someone commercially minded, ambitious and curious. Someone who wants to understand the "why", not just produce the numbers.

What makes this role different?

You'll work across FP&A, commercial finance and business partnering.

  • One day you could be building a model for a new product launch.
  • The next, analysing customer trends, helping the marketing team understand ROI or supporting senior leaders with planning and strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll have exposure to:

  • Commercial analysis and financial modelling
  • Business partnering with teams across the company
  • Product, channel and customer profitability
  • Business cases for new ideas and investment decisions
  • Strategic projects and process improvements

About You

You're probably:

  • Part-qualified, finalist or newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Strong analytically, but equally interested in the commercial side of finance
  • Comfortable communicating with people outside finance
  • Naturally curious and keen to challenge how things are done
  • Ambitious and looking for a business where you can progress

Experience in retail, eCommerce or consumer businesses would be brilliant. But attitude, intelligence and personality matter just as much.
