Commercial Finance Business Partner - Leeds (Hybrid) - Up to £65,000 + Benefits - Permanent - ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Commercial Finance Business Partner to join a fast-paced, customer-focused organisation. This role will play a key part in partnering with senior operational leaders, providing commercial insight and financial support to drive performance across the business.

Working closely with a range of non-finance stakeholders, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, challenging business performance, and supporting strategic decision-making through robust planning, reporting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary finance business partner to senior operational stakeholders, providing commercial support and constructive challenge.
  • Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Take ownership of monthly management reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial information is delivered to the leadership team.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.
  • Monitor gross margin and profitability, providing recommendations to optimise commercial performance.
  • Produce meaningful financial models, business cases, and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Drive improvements across reporting, financial processes, and controls, helping to increase efficiency and data quality.
  • Support wider finance projects and contribute to the continuous development of commercial finance capabilities across the organisation.

About You

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Demonstrable experience operating within a commercially focused finance business partnering role.
  • Strong understanding of P&L performance, margin analysis, and the commercial drivers behind business profitability.
  • Proven ability to influence, challenge, and build credibility with senior operational stakeholders.
  • Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes within a dynamic business environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets and present complex financial information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Naturally proactive with a continuous improvement mindset and a track record of enhancing reporting, processes, and decision-making.
