Finance Business Partner | PE-Backed Advertising Company | Salary £70,000 - £80,000 + bonus and benefits.

I'm exclusively partnering with a PE-backed Advertising company who are investing significantly to support growth and expansion. For this role you will be reporting into the Finance Director and partner with other senior leaders.

My client is looking for a sharp, commercially minded Finance Business Partner to lead and develop more junior members of the team while putting finance at the front of key commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and sign off variance analysis, assist with monthly management reporting packs, and maintain divisional P&L trackers and reporting templates
  • Be the trusted commercial adviser to divisional leadership, challenging assumptions, and delivering proactive insight on pricing, profitability and performance
  • Partner closely with the Events team through planning and delivery, owning the post-event financial close process including revenue recognition, accruals and JV settlements
  • Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes for assigned divisions, developing driver-based models and coordinating quarterly reforecasts
  • Monitor budget and forecast variances monthly, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions
  • Support the year-end close, statutory audit and preparation of annual financial statements
  • Identifying automation opportunities and working with the AI & Business Systems team to improve data structure and reporting capability
  • Supervise and coach more junior members of the team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
