Finance Business Support Administrator

Finance Business Support Administrator – Ripon (Fixed-Term Contract)

Role Overview

    • Salary: Up to £26,690
    • Bonus: Plus performance-related opportunities

  • Contract Type: 7-month fixed-term contract
  • Location: Ripon
  • Working Arrangement:
    • Full-time, permanent (40 hrs/week): Monday–Friday (08:00–17:00, 1-hour break).
    • Hybrid model: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

As the Finance Business Support Administrator, your core duties will include:

  • Managing customer-related financial transactions
  • Loading bank statements and allocating payments
  • Taking and processing customer payments via phone
  • Generating and analysing Excel reports (e.g., V-lookups, pivot tables*)

Requirements & Skills

Essential

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling financial data.
  • Confidence in making outbound customer calls (page administration).
  • Experience in administration/data entry (preferable).

Desirable

  • Intermediate/expert Excel skills, including:
    • V-lookups
    • Pivot tables
  • Prior experience in finance support or a similar administrative environment.
