Workday Finance Consultant

Sharp Consultant Needed for Major Public Sector ERP Transformation

The Opportunity

Infinite Talent are partnering with a major public sector organisation undergoing a large-scale ERP transformation, seeking a Workday Finance Consultant to drive its implementation and optimisation from within.

This isn’t just a standard support role—you’ll be the key subject matter expert working at the heart of a complex shared services environment, influencing process design rather than merely logging tickets. If you thrive on direct impact, this is your chance.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the trusted Workday Financials adviser, you’ll manage the GL, AP, AR, Expenses, Assets & Projects modules, with a mix of:

  • Leading workshops to map business requirements for financial processes
  • Turning design into execution by working closely with technical teams to create robust system configurations
  • Diagnosing and resolving high-complexity tier-3/4 incidents (deep root-cause analysis required)
  • Balancing project delivery, continuous improvement, and day-to-day (BAU) support—keep the organisation running smoothly while optimising end-to-end finance operations

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
