Finance Digital Lead - Europe

Your Role in Synergy ’s Success

The Finance Digital Lead is responsible for driving digital transformation within the finance department. This role focuses on leveraging technology and digital tools to enhance financial processes, improve efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making. Working closely with finance teams, IT departments, and senior management, the Finance Digital Lead will implement innovative digital solutions and optimise financial operations across the business.

How You Will Contribute

As a Finance Digital Lead, you will:

Develop and deliver the digital transformation strategy for the finance function. Identify and implement technologies that improve financial processes, efficiency, and insight. Lead the integration and optimisation of finance systems, including ERP and automation tools. Drive process improvement through automation, RPA, and AI where appropriate. Oversee finance data, analytics, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making. Partner with Finance, IT, and senior stakeholders to align digital initiatives with business needs. Lead change management to ensure successful adoption of new tools and ways of working. Monitor the performance and impact of digital initiatives, refining approaches as needed.

Key Ingredients for Success

Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives within a finance function. Strong understanding of finance systems, including ERP platforms, financial software, and automation tools. Experience improving financial processes through automation, RPA, and digital technologies. Solid knowledge of finance data, reporting, and analytics to support decision-making. Proven ability to manage digital or finance-related projects end to end. Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across Finance, IT, and senior leadership. Excellent change management skills, including training and adoption of new systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
