12-Month Fixed Term Contract with strong potential to become permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Director to join a well-established, international manufacturing business based in North West London. This is a commercially focused leadership role offering genuine influence across the organisation and the opportunity to play a key part in both strategic decision-making and a major business transformation project.

This position is initially offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract. We are ideally seeking candidates who are available to start within one month's notice.

You will oversee financial management, statutory reporting, compliance, forecasting and controls, while supporting strategic planning and driving business performance.

Alongside day-to-day financial leadership, you will play a pivotal role in the company's ERP transformation, acting as the UK business lead during the implementation.

Business Partnering & Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with the Leadership Team to shape and deliver the strategic direction of the business.
  • Provide commercial insight, challenge assumptions and support data-driven decision making.
  • Monitor business performance, identifying risks, opportunities and mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure strategic initiatives are delivered successfully.
  • Evaluate external market risks and their potential financial impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
