Senior (Part-Time) Finance Director – Cambridge
About the Role We are recruiting for an experienced Finance Director to lead the finance function on a part-time basis in Cambridge. This role also involves active engagement as a key board member and requires strategic oversight alongside day-to-day operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and cash flow management
- Prepare Board and investor reporting, monthly management accounts, and KPI insights
- Oversee core finance operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Manage relationships with external accountants and key stakeholders
- Maintain compliance and company secretarial duties

Requirements
- Qualified accountant: Requirement for a CA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong proficiency in Excel, with knowledge of AI applications
- Outstanding communication and commercial acumen
- Proven board-level experience
