The Finance Director will oversee all financial operations, ensuring strategic alignment with the organisation's objectives and driving long-term growth. Description

  • Lead the financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the organisation's overall goals
  • Lead on a major ERP transformation and corporate restructure
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to support strategic decision-making
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
  • Monitor and enhance financial controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
  • Analyse financial performance and present recommendations to the executive team
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Support key investment decisions and ensure efficient allocation of resources

Profile

A Successful Finance Director Should Have

  • A professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven expertise in finance management
  • Experience in a leadership role, ideally within the transport, logistics or property sector
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results
  • The ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Proven experience in driving financial performance and supporting business growth
