Finance Director

Salary: £100,000–£115,000 + Bonus + Incentives/Benefits
Location: Flexible UK (hybrid), with 1–2 days per week in Rugby, Warwickshire

Opportunity

Opportunity for an operationally focused Finance Director to support two recently acquired, high-potential engineering businesses within the Engineering Division of an expanding, acquisitive AIM-listed group.

Reporting to the Managing Directors of both businesses and acting as the principal interface with the Group CFO, you will improve financial visibility, strengthen commercial and operational decision-making, and help shape the next phase of growth. This is a hands-on role for a finance leader who is just as comfortable working operationally with project managers and engineers, and strategically with the board.

The Business

Two specialist electrical and engineering businesses delivering installation, maintenance and testing on infrastructure projects across the UK. Both are growing, with the most recent acquisition being established as a standalone operation following its carve-out from a major organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
