Finance Director – Global Ad Sales (Commercial Finance) at Future B2C

The Role
This is a critical senior finance position, reporting to the Group Commercial Finance Director with a dotted line to the Chief Revenue Officer, Executive VP of eCommerce, and their senior leadership teams.
As the Finance Director, you will be the lead commercial business partner to the Global Ad Sales teams, responsible for:
- Driving ad sales revenue and related gross contribution for the division.
- Leading forecasting and budgeting across all commercial finance areas, including:
- Revenue recognition and variance analysis.
- Insights-driven financial decision-making.
- Performance reporting and business partnering.
- Developing and managing a team of commercial finance business partners, fostering a growth mindset and promoting best practice.
- Advancing process improvement within both the Commercial Finance team and the wider finance function.
- Strategically balancing risk and opportunity using data and insights to optimise commercial performance.

What You’ll Bring
With a strategic growth mindset, you’ll excel in a team environment and excel at bridging finance, business strategy, and operations. We’re looking for:
- Strategic commercial finance experience, preferably in a media or B2C revenue-driven environment.
- C-suite-level communication skills to distil complex financial/operational data into clear, insightful insights for decision-makers.
- Proven ability to develop actionable insights driving executive-level choices, with a problem-solving attitude.
- Strong numeracy, analytical, and numeracy skills, paired with the confidence to lead complex/difficult challenges.
- Relationship-building with business leaders, operations teams, and stakeholders, demonstrating adaptability and collaboration.
- Ability to balance challenge and support across teams, including conflict resolution where needed.
- Hybrid remote readiness: Willingness to serve business leaders in North America (Central/Eastern Time, GMT -5 to -7) and adjust working hours as required.
- Effective workload prioritisation, balancing long-term initiatives with immediate commercial impact.
- Flexibility and commercial awareness, embracing continuous learning and varied responsibilities.
- A qualified accountant with CPA/ACA/ACCA qualifications.
