Senior Finance Director (Group Commercial Finance) – Future B2C

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership: As Finance Director, you will report into the Group Commercial Finance Director with a dotted line to the Chief Revenue Officer, Executive VP of eCommerce, and their senior leadership teams.

Revenue & Contribution: Serve as the lead commercial partner to Global Ad Sales teams, with responsibility for ad sales revenue and related gross contribution. Develop forecasts, budgets, and analytical insights to identify risks and opportunities.

Process Improvement: Drive continuous process enhancement and best practice adoption across the Commercial Finance team and broader finance function, fostering commercial excellence and inclusive growth.

Team Leadership: Develop, manage, and mentor a team of commercial finance business partners, cultivating an engaging and growth-oriented working culture.

Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively present financial data to stakeholders (including C-suite) in a clear, insightful, and actionable manner.

North America Support: Facilitate effective collaboration with business leaders in North America (adapting to Central Eastern Time, GMT -5 to -7 hours).
Key Experiences & Skills

C-Suite Communication: Ability to synthesise complex financial/operational data into succinct, insight-driven messaging for executives.

Execution & Decision-Making: Evidence of developing strategic interventions, alongside a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Industry Knowledge: Proven experience within commercial media or related industries.

Collaborative Leadership: Exceptional ability to work across finance, business leadership, and operational teams – with a knack for quick knowledge assimilation.

Team Management: Experience successfully managing teams, navigating conflicts, and driving performance outcomes.

Resilience & Numeric Acumen: Self-assured problem-solving approach, balanced approach to challenge and support across organisational levels, and strong analysis/numeracy skills.

Time Management: Strategic prioritisation of workloads, ensuring timely delivery of impactful initiatives.

Global Flexibility: Willingness to adapt working hours for stakeholders in multiple time zones.

Commercial Awareness: Demonstrated ability to present intricate financial information to diverse stakeholders in approachable formats.

Professional accreditation: Qualified accountant (CPA/ACA/ACCA) essential.

Competitive Range: £110,000 – £140,000旋 per annum.
