Shape the financial future of one of the UK's fastest growing air conditioning and refrigeration businesses.

TF Solutions has transformed since joining the Travis Perkins Group. Rapid space expansion over the past three years has made us one of the leading names in air conditioning and refrigeration, known for market leading stock availability and service our customers genuinely rely on. We are not slowing down, and we are looking for a Finance Director who wants to help write the next chapter of that growth story.

This is a true business partnering role. You will sit at the heart of the leadership team, working shoulder to shoulder with the TF Solutions Managing Director, with a dotted line to our BSS (part of Travis Perkins plc) Finance Director. You will turn market insight into strategy, and strategy into results. If you are an ambitious finance leader who enjoys influencing the direction of a business rather than simply reporting on it, this is the seat for you.

What you will be doing:

  • Developing and delivering the strategic plan, directly shaping the commerciality, profitability and direction of the business.
  • Challenging and supporting the leadership team to grow sales, margin and returns through pricing, new markets, cost management and operational efficiency.
  • Building budgets, forecasts and corporate plans in line with Group timelines and governance, and making sure the business understands its performance, its variances and the actions that follow.
  • Managing working capital across capital expenditure, stock, debtors and creditors to hit agreed targets.
  • Owning the control and governance framework alongside the BSS Finance team, including the internal and external audit process.
  • Translating finance information for Regional and Branch Managers so it drives real commercial decisions on the ground.
  • Leading the development of reporting across TF Solutions, partnering with the BSS Head of BI to embed best practice across both businesses.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
