Finance Director 📊💷📈
The Company:
One of the UK's fastest-growing, investor-backed, DTC health/wellness/nutrition brands, built on a simple mission: create honest, evidence-led supplements that genuinely improve people's lives, is looking to expand their incredible SLT through the addition of a commercially-minded Finance Director.
Having already scaled to just under £10mil in revenue, the business is entering its next stage of growth with plans to firstly hit £10mil+ ahead of further investment to reach £15mil, £20mil+... Alongside an exciting new brand evolution (re-brand to be announced soon!) and significant investment into business growth, this is a rare opportunity to shape one of the most commercially important functions within the business.
Already having built B2B and stocked across Retail as seen in Whole Foods, Holland & Barrett, Waitrose and 400+ independent retailers, and also own an incredibly loyal customer base with industry-leading retention rates, they're looking for someone to unlock the next phase of growth.
The Opportunity:
Reporting directly to the CEO & Founder and working closely with the CMO, you'll become one of the key commercial leaders within the business, helping shape strategy across finance, marketing, operations and overall business growth.
The business is looking for someone who understands that finance should be a growth engine; not simply a reporting function. You'll build the financial models that influence strategic decisions, optimise marketing investment, improve commercial performance and help prepare the business for its next phase of external investment.
This role offers genuine breadth. One day you'll be modelling customer acquisition economics and forecasting cash flow; the next you'll be influencing pricing strategy, evaluating retail opportunities or presenting growth plans directly to investors.
For someone who enjoys combining commercial thinking with financial rigour, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact within a founder-led challenger brand already owning an impressive growth track-record!
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to shape the company's long-term financial and commercial strategy
- Build sophisticated financial models to support growth from £10mil towards £20mil+
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management and scenario planning across the business
- Own reporting, business performance analysis and KPI dashboards that drive commercial decision-making
- Analyse customer acquisition, retention and profitability metrics including CAC, LTV, AOV, ROAS, contribution margin and subscription economics
- Develop commercial models to optimise marketing investment and customer LTV
- Lead pricing strategy, product margin analysis and profitability modelling across DTC and Retail channels
- Support new product launches, retail partnerships and international expansion through robust commercial analysis
- Build investor-ready financial models and lead the finance workstream for future fundraising activities
- Present financial insight and strategic recommendations to founders, shareholders and future investors
- Oversee management accounts, financial operations, compliance and external accounting partners
- Improve finance systems, reporting capability and operational processes as the business continues to scale
- Build the finance function and team as the organisation grows

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
