Our client, a leading global contract research organization in the life sciences sector, is seeking an accomplished Finance Director to drive European strategy and performance.
Operating across 30+ offices in APAC, the US and Europe, this organization combines complex clinical delivery with a strong, award‑winning people culture. You will be the first Finance Director in Europe, reporting to the global CFO, so you can really shape the position, take ownership and build a strong department.

Role Responsibilities
- Drive regional financial performance and strategy: Lead end-to-end regional P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and performance analytics, ensuring financial decisions directly support the company’s mission to advance clinical development globally.
- Partner with senior global leaders: Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, Tax and Treasury teams across APAC, the US and Europe to influence financial strategy, ensure governance and support sustainable growth in a complex, multi‑country environment.
- Build and elevate regional finance capabilities: Lead and mentor a growing regional finance team, driving process improvement, productivity, cost optimisation and robust financial controls that underpin the organization’s ongoing expansion and operational excellence.

Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (CPA, CA or ACCA)
- Multiple years of senior finance leadership experience in a complex, multi‑country or matrix organization
- Experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device company is a must
- Commercially driven business partner: Proven FP&A experience (budgeting, forecasting, performance analytics), strong commercial acumen, and advanced analytical skills (BI, reporting, financial modelling) that enable you to influence senior stakeholders and drive data‑led decisions.
- Governance and industry strength: Track record of ensuring financial governance, compliance and audit readiness, including managing internal and external audits
- Fluent level of English
