Financial Director | London | PE Backed Operational Real Estate | £90,000 to £130,000 + Bonus & Package
Our client is a high-growth, private equity-backed Operational Real Estate business operating in a dynamic SME environment. Based near West London with hybrid working, the company is pursuing a buy-and-build strategy with multiple acquisitions on the horizon, aiming for a PE exit in the coming years.
They seek a high-calibre, commercial Financial Director to own the finance function, drive performance, and lead a business-modernisation and financial transformation.
You will fully manage all financial matters, focusing on profitability growth, margin protection/expansion, and strategic partnership with the private equity investors, including rigorous modeling, evaluation, and execution of investments that align with the scalable business platform.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary finance business partner for the CEO, Chair, and private equity investors.
- Lead, mentor, and professionalise a lean finance team to support expansion.
- Oversee financial reporting, management accounting, tax compliance, covenant management, and cash flow forecasting.
- Manage banking relationships and provide rigorous PE-facing reporting.
What We Are Looking For
- A highly ambitious, ACA-qualified accountant with strong technical skills.
- Proven experience as a hands-on Financial Director in either a SME or PE-backed business.
- A track record of driving change, implementing systems/automation, and scaling.
- M&A and integration experience is highly desirable.
- Industry-specific experience within:
- Property
- Operational real estate
- Hospitality/leisure
- Facilities management
- Asset-backed businesses
