Urenco is a global leader in the production of low carbon energy. We work at the cutting edge of the transition to a sustainable, net zero world.

We’re looking for a Finance Graduate to join our Group Finance team at Urenco’s Paddington headquarters. You'll gain hands-on experience across a broad range of finance activities while developing the skills, knowledge and professional network needed to build a successful career in finance.

As part of your development, Urenco will provide support towards a CIMA professional qualification.

What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Financial Officer, you’ll support the Group Finance team by ensuring that accounting and reporting processes are carried out in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Working with relevant Commercial Contract Manager to understand our delivery schedule and timing of external enrichment sales
  • Raising customer invoices, processing cash receipts and ensure accurate Revenue reporting
  • Reviewing and develop controls surrounding Revenue processes
  • Reviewing and processing Group intercompany transactions
  • Taking ownership of a shared Group Finance inbox, responding to queries and providing support to colleagues across the wider Finance team
  • Acting as the Finance Business Partner for designated functions, working directly with function leads to provide insight into financial performance, explain actual versus budget variances, and support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Own key month-end accounting activities, including accruals, prepayments, recurring journals and other month-end adjustments
  • Support the wider Group Finance team with half year and year end, and supporting with queries from the external auditors

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
