We are looking for a senior volunteer and experienced professional to lead management of our finances and information.
What difference will you make?
As a senior volunteer, your input and knowledge will drive the performance of Step Up and our community. As a small volunteer-led social enterprise, we require someone with an eye for detail to aid our development.
There is the option for the role to grow and develop to include other responsibilities such as fundraising, business development and sponsorships.
What are we looking for?
- Be a passionate volunteer with a clear time commitment and enjoyment in managing financials.
- Is a good communicator.
- Is a self-starter.
- Can work remotely.
- Experience of finance, accountancy and/or fundraising.
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Has a good level of written English.
- Good sense of humour.
- Has access to a computer and a good internet connection.
- Aligns to the values and mission of Step Up.

What will you be doing?
The newly created role of Finance & Information Director is a fantastic opportunity. Reporting to our Group Managing Director you will be a key leader within our organisation to manage our finances, ensuring we are a sustainable organisation.

- Oversee budgeting and financial planning.
- Manage financial reporting and controls.
- Track income and expenditure.
- Ensure financial compliance.
- Support fundraising tracking.
