Finance Integration Manager
The Compleat Food Group, Nottingham - Hybrid working
Shape the future of finance integration in a fast-growing, highly acquisitive chilled food manufacturing group.
We are looking for a highly experienced Finance Integration Manager to lead the financial integration of newly acquired businesses into our Group operating model. This is a high-impact, highly visible role at the heart of our growth strategy, giving you the opportunity to shape how finance enables successful acquisitions, strengthens control, and supports operational excellence across a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment.
Working closely with Finance, Corporate Development, Operational leadership and newly acquired site teams, you will own the finance integration agenda from early assessment through to post-acquisition transition. You will bring structure, pace and commercial rigour to complex integration projects, ensuring processes, systems, controls and reporting frameworks are aligned to Group standards while maintaining business continuity.
The Role
- Lead the finance integration of newly acquired businesses into the Group’s finance operating model, systems, controls and reporting framework.
- Assess acquired businesses’ finance processes, systems, controls, data, reporting and operating structures, identifying gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and deliver robust integration plans, ensuring clear milestones, ownership, governance and communication across all finance workstreams.
- Act as the key finance integration partner for acquisition teams, site leadership, shared services, IT, tax, treasury, payroll, reporting and operational stakeholders.
- Support acquisition accounting, opening balance sheet reviews, post-deal reporting, audit readiness and compliance with financial reporting requirements.
- Lead the alignment of chart of accounts, reporting cycles, control frameworks, finance policies and standardised ways of working across newly acquired entities.
- Drive finance transformation activity across process improvement, automation, data quality, reporting efficiency and finance systems integration.
- Provide senior stakeholders with clear updates, insight, challenge and recommendations to support successful decision-making throughout the integration lifecycle.

About You
- Credible, hands-on finance transformation manager with a strong track record of delivering complex finance projects in fast-paced, acquisitive or multi-entity environments.
- Comfortable moving between strategic thinking and detailed delivery, able to quickly understand how a business operates and translate that into a clear, practical integration plan.
- Qualified accountant or equivalent senior finance experience, with significant exposure to finance transformation, M&A integration, finance operations or acquisition accounting.
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional finance projects, ideally involving systems, controls, reporting, process redesign or operating model change.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, reporting standards and the importance of maintaining control through periods of change.
- Experience working with ERP implementations, finance systems integration, data migration or reporting automation would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders and build trust quickly with newly acquired businesses.
- A practical, resilient and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to bring clarity, structure and momentum to complex, ambiguous situations.
