Finance Lead
Interim Finance Lead | Healthcare Services | Birmingham (Hybrid, 2/3 Days Onsite) | 6 Months
Immediate start.
A leading healthcare services organisation, part of a global healthcare group, is looking for an experienced Interim Finance Lead to join their UK operation on a 6-month contract basis.
This is a hands-on role leading a small finance team of five, acting as the key financial partner to local management while ensuring compliance with group reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day financial operations of the UK business
- Provide high quality financial analysis and reporting to local and group stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and group IFRS reporting requirements within tight monthly deadlines
- Drive financial control with a focus on revenue growth and margin improvement
- Oversee payroll and purchasing functions
- Support business decisions through financial modelling and scenario planning
- Present results confidently to senior audiences

Your Profile
- Chartered Accountant β ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Extensive financial management experience in an SME environment
- Strong understanding of group reporting under IFRS
- Hands-on approach β comfortable both leading and doing
- Strong team leadership with experience managing small finance teams
- Healthcare or regulated sector background advantageous
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
