Finance & M&A Reporting Analyst
Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to join our global finance team. This role is focused on financial reporting, data analysis, reporting automation, finance systems and supporting finance transformation initiatives across an international organisation.
This position is ideally suited to someone who has experience with M&A and enjoys working with large datasets, investigating anomalies, improving reporting processes and using data to support informed business decisions. You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple international entities, contribute to systems and process improvements, and support a variety of finance projects within a collaborative global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting across multiple international entities.
- Extract, validate and reconcile financial information from multiple ERP and reporting systems.
- Produce regular and ad hoc financial reports, dashboards and analytical packs.
- Investigate data discrepancies, identify trends and provide meaningful analysis.
- Support month-end close activities through reporting, reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist with group consolidation and reporting across international business units.
- Support finance systems projects, reporting automation initiatives and continuous process improvements.
- Assist with financial due diligence and integration activities relating to acquisitions where required.
- Maintain and enhance financial models, reporting templates and analytical tools.
- Work closely with finance, accounting and operational teams across the business.
- Support additional finance projects as required.

Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Financial Analysis, Group Reporting, Audit, Financial Accounting or another analytical finance role.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, complex formulas and manipulation of large datasets.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, anomalies and inconsistencies.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced, international environment.

Desirable Experience
- SQL.
- VBA or Macros.
- Power Query.
- Power BI or similar reporting and visualisation tools.
- Experience working across multiple legal entities or international businesses.
- Exposure to ERP implementations, finance transformation or reporting automation projects.
- Experience building and maintaining financial models.
- Exposure to acquisition integration or finance project work.
