Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our UK Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is pivotal in ensuring:
- Financial integrity and transparency
- Strong financial controls
- Support for strategic business decision-making across multiple entities
The Finance Manager will oversee critical processes including:
- Month-end financial close
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial support for project teams and stakeholders

Collaborating with operational and finance teams, the Finance Manager will act as a trusted business partner, strengthening financial performance while supporting the organisation’s growth.

Responsibilities

Daily administrative tasks:
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for multiple entities
- Handling accounts receivable and intercompany payments
- Reconciling payroll accounts and reviewing daily journals/postings
- Managing intercompany invoices and reconciliations

Periodic reporting and forecasts:
- Preparing and reviewing VAT reconciliations (APAC entities) for FC review
- Partnering with stakeholders for budgets and operational forecasting
- Delivering monthly management accounts and ensuring accuracy for FC review (design-related entities)
- Collaborating with FC to establish new systems and process improvements

- Stakeholder support:
- Serving as the first point of contact for project financial queries
- Providing audit support when required
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, complemented by ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (equivalent accepted)
- Proven experience in:
- Accounting reconciliations
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Proficiency in:
- Accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Xero)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
