From the moment a consumer is thinking of placing an order to the time the order arrives at their door and a review is posted to social media, Foodhub has solutions to drive the consumer experience, whilst adding extra value via our ecosystem of partners. The Foodhub Tech Stack is extensive: from Web and Mobile Ordering to 3rd Party Order Aggregation, Dispatch and Self-Delivery, complete Hardware/Software POS systems, extensive array of POS integrations, On-Premise Kiosks, QR Code Ordering and Payment, Table-side Mobile Order/Receipt Printers, plus an extensive product and development team to support all of this.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts to month-end timetable
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
  • Analysis of P&L nominals each month-end to ensure completeness
  • Enhance current reconciliations to ensure less risk of human error and automate where possible
  • Be a point of contact for auditors during the audit, providing reconciliation and dealing with queries on balance sheet and P&L items
  • Deep dive into balance sheet items where needed, dealing with other departments, to ensure the data we get is the best it can be for our reconciliation
  • Preparation of ad hoc reports and projects as required

Requirements

  • Fully Qualified Accountant
  • ACA qualification
  • Audit experience is a benefit
  • 2 years post-qualification industry experience would be beneficial with experience in closing the monthly books, management accounts, etc.
  • Experience with reconciliation is a must. Able to understand what a good reconciliation is and why it is important
  • Management experience not essential, but experience coaching and mentoring junior staff is beneficial, such as an audit senior position
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
