Finance Manager (12 Month FTC)

London (Hybrid / Remote Working Supported)
£60,000 - £80,000, DOE + Bonus and Full Company Benefits

Nirvana Search are currently partnering with a highly successful, Private Equity-backed professional services business to recruit a versatile Finance Manager on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract. You will be joining a highly acquisitive and rapidly growing division within the broader group. With a strong pipeline of M&A activity, this is a fast-paced environment where finance plays a critical role in driving and supporting commercial success.

The Role

This is a truly broad, all-encompassing position. The business requires a hands-on finance professional who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves for transactional tasks as they are delivering high-level reporting.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-End Accounting: Taking full ownership of the numbers, from transactional duties (including credit control) through to the preparation and delivery of full management accounts.
  • Core Finance Duties: Managing all prepayments, accruals and VAT returns.
  • M&A Support: Playing a key role in supporting the division through heavy M&A activity, assisting with the financial integration of new acquisitions.
  • Data & Process Improvement: Spearheading data cleansing initiatives to ensure accuracy and consistency across the division and wider group.
  • Group Collaboration: Acting as the primary finance contact for this growing division while providing robust support to the wider group finance function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
