Finance Manager

Halifax | £48,000 - £52,000 + Profit Share

Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a role where you'll have genuine ownership, influence business decisions and become a key part of the senior leadership team?

This is an opportunity to join a long-established, highly respected British manufacturing business that designs and supplies specialist technology to customers across the globe. Following continued success and growth, the business is looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to take full ownership of the finance function and help shape the next chapter of the company's success.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll be the senior finance professional within the business, providing commercial insight while overseeing all aspects of finance. This is far more than a traditional accounting role. You'll have the autonomy to make an impact, improve processes and play a pivotal role in strategic decision making. For the right individual, there is a genuine opportunity to progress into a Finance Director position.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
