Michael Page Finance are supporting a client in Doncaster on the search for a Finance Manager. An exciting opportunity to take ownership of financial reporting, controls and operational finance activities in a well-established business. The role oversees month-end and year-end reporting, statutory compliance, financial systems development and continuous improvement initiatives, while leading and developing an experienced finance team.

Description
This Finance Manager position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of the organisation's financial reporting and control environment. The successful candidate will lead finance operations, oversee statutory and management reporting, drive process improvements and provide leadership to a growing finance team.

- Lead the production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, ensuring accurate management accounts and timely submissions to the wider group.
- Maintain and enhance the organisation's financial control environment, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, risk management requirements and audit standards.
- Manage external audit activity and support the preparation of statutory accounts, tax-related obligations and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Provide leadership, direction and development for the finance team, ensuring workloads are effectively managed and team capability continues to grow.
- Drive improvements across finance systems, reporting tools and ERP platforms to improve data accuracy, automation and business insight.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining financial processes and supporting wider finance transformation programmes.

Profile
For this Finance Manager role we're looking for;
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Demonstrable experience leading financial reporting activities within a complex business environment.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, governance and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of managing external audits and delivering successful year-end reporting processes.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing finance professionals.
- Strong ERP and finance systems knowledge, with experience improving reporting processes and efficiencies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
- Analytical, organised and highly detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
