Workplace: Central London (1-2 days per week) + Hybrid

Role type: Permanent Part-Time (3 days / 22.5 hours per week)

The Team

So Television is an ITV Studios-owned unscripted production company, most well-known for producing The Graham Norton Show for the BBC, alongside high-profile music specials and iconic chat shows. We operate in a creative, fast-moving media environment that thrives on collaboration and open communication. Working as part of the broader ITV Studios Unscripted network, we focus on building supportive professional relationships, maintaining robust financial controls, and looking for continual improvements to drive efficiencies across our reporting and processes.

The Role

We’re looking for a commercially minded and technically strong part-time Finance Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner (ITV Studios Unscripted), with a dotted reporting line to the Director of Production (So Television), you will work closely with Senior Management, Production, and Finance teams.

Your core purpose will be to deliver accurate and timely management accounts, consolidate these into ITV systems, and support full end-to-end finance processes for the label. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will balance granular financial controls with parent-company group reporting. It is an ideal opportunity for a qualified accountant with a broad range of experience (in both financial and management accounting) and enthusiasm to 'get stuck in' and help shape the financial targets of an iconic entertainment brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the monthly forecasting process, providing detailed variance analysis against budget and prior forecasts to track profitability.
  • Conducting the annual budgeting process in close collaboration with the FBP, Managing Director, and Director of Production to build robust financial targets.
  • Managing revenue and cost of sale recognition alongside all overheads expenditure to guarantee P&L and balance sheet accuracy.
  • Executing the timely submission of monthly load files and financial data into ITV group systems, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Maintaining and updating internal ITV FP&A files to keep the label’s performance aligned with Group expectations.
  • Leading the statutory accounts process by working closely with the FBP, ITV Studios controllership team, and ITV Group.
  • Preparing comprehensive operational packs for Label Board Meetings and monitoring profitability to highlight financial risks or opportunities.
  • Ensuring the smooth collection of royalties from ITV’s Global Partnerships division and accurately calculating third-party payaways associated with ancillary incomes.
  • Taking full ownership of finance controls and maintaining the control framework across So Television.
  • Leading internal investigations into a wide range of ad hoc queries with a proactive approach to continuous process improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
