Job Description

Join as the UK Head of Reporting and Financial Analysis within a dynamic and ambitious team. This pivotal role focuses on financial oversight, ensuring accuracy and integrity of figures for Head Office operations (Management Accounts, overheads, and budgeting/forecasting). You’ll oversee financial health across all departments, collaborate on future growth projects, and support acquisitions integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Departmental Financial Leadership
    • Own all overhead costs for assigned departments, including calculating and processing payments/accruals in finance systems.
    • Drive monthly prepayments and accruals into the financial system.
    • Lead finance-related queries as a trusted external business partner for commercial departments.

  • Reporting & Insight

    • Develop departmental financial reports, analysing and investigating variances between actual results and budgets/forecasts.
    • Contribute to quarterly budgeting and forecasting, analysing data for assigned cost lines.
  • Presentations & Collaboration

    • Present monthly financial reports to senior stakeholders and management.
    • Lead audit cooperation, including group and statutory audits for aligned departments.
  • Stroesource-specific Initiatives

    • Assist in integrading cost centres into the Group Financial Performance Tool as part of a broader implementation project to enhance decision-making.
    • Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and wider team support.
  • Change Impact

    • Some travel (<10%) expected for budget review meetings in London and key retail locations.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Preferred ACCA/CIMA qualification (or BSc in Business/Finance with experience)
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in finance, with proven leadership in reporting/financial analysis.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced usage) and ERP systems (experience with S/4HANA is advantageous).
