Finance Manager
Finance Manager – £50K
We are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to take ownership of financial reporting for one of our largest business units. Working within Financial Control, you’ll support the Roadside Financial Controller, ensuring accurate reporting, strong governance, and insightful analysis to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate month-end reporting (journals, accruals, analysis) for the Roadside division and Fleet
- Produce financial reports with clear commentary on performance (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs)
- Maintain robust financial controls and complete balance sheet reconciliation
- Act as a key contact for external audit, managing requests and technical queries
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (including revenue and lease accounting)
- Partner with stakeholders to provide commercial insights, particularly on Fleet strategy
- Support systems, controls improvements, and wider finance transformation projects

About You

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 3+ years’ experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including lease accounting
- Experience working with audit and fast-paced reporting environments
- Advanced Excel skills, and experience with SAP/BPC or other ERP systems
- Analytical, detail-focused, and proactive in problem-solving
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised, adaptable, and able to meet tight deadlines
