Job Description

Role: Finance Manager - 6 month FTC

Location: Holborn, London

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work with the leading Independent Marketing Intelligence Company. You will join a global company with a global culture to match.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join the Finance team in providing valuable information to all stakeholders within the global business. As the department, and business, are growing rapidly there is scope for you to really make this role your own.

Job Responsibilities

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

Delivering Results

  • Ensuring the integrity of data that we deliver to management is of the highest quality for the French entity.
  • Completing and managing the annual audit for the French entity.
  • To deliver month end for both French entities and present to management any variances to forecast.
  • Ensuring data uploaded into the expense management system is up to date and accurate
  • Able to prioritise the inputs and see how your work adds value and drives towards key objectives vs focusing on smaller tasks

Analysing

  • Analysing and delivering key revenue and profitability reports, on a weekly and monthly basis, for all levels of management
  • Overhead and Revenue reporting
  • P&L analysis, and the ability to tie this in to the budgeting process
  • Ensuring insights from analysis are clear and action oriented
  • Ability to link together various different data sets or analysis pieces
  • Be interested, or have experience, in data visualisation

Internal Collaboration

  • Ability to communicate well with both financial and non-financial stakeholders, listening and understanding their needs
  • Work across the business to advise on process improvements

Communication

  • Communication is concise, precise and impactful
  • Emphasis on delivering tailored and actionable reports with appropriate level of integrity or compliance

Commercial and Entrepreneurial thinking

  • To be proactive and suggest any areas where processes can be automated or scaled
  • Have some ownership over the smooth running of our accounting software, Workday

Required Skills And Experience

  • Excel – Intermediate/Advanced Level
  • Should be a qualified or part-qualified accountant.
  • Workday, desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of French GAAP, desirable but not essential
