Finance Manager

Finance Manager | Thames Ditton

Keltbray is a UK-leading specialist engineering and construction business, delivering complex infrastructure, engineering, and built environment projects across the country. With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, the company plays a critical role in shaping the nation’s future.

We’re currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our expanding finance team.

This role is ideal for a strong Management Accountant seeking to transition into a broader Finance Manager position, or for an experienced Finance Manager who works best alongside operations rather than in a purely corporate finance setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, profit & loss (P&L) statements, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
  • Supporting monthly CVR (Contract Values Report) reviews and project performance reporting
  • Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
  • Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
  • Assistance with year-end audit activities and financial control maintenance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
