Finance Manager
An established and growing organisation based in Cambridge is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to take ownership of its day-to-day finance function. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys improving processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the wider business through strong financial management.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring the finance function runs efficiently while supporting continued growth.
Typical Duties
- Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and month-end processes.
- Producing financial reports, budget analysis, and highlighting key variances.
- Maintaining accurate financial records, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure financial data remains accurate and up to date.
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls as the business develops.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar position.
- An accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, cash flow management, and month-end procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
