Finance Manager - Industrial/Manufacturing Sector (Merseyside)

Description
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Supervise and guide the accounting team to maintain high standards of accuracy and productivity
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and processes
- Monitor and manage company cash flow effectively
- Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders as required

Requirements
A successful Finance Manager should have:

- A professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
- Proven experience in a similar finance role within the industrial/manufacturing sector
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a finance team effectively
