Finance Manager
Finance Manager, Creative Agency, London – Permanent, Full Time
£60,000 - £65,000 DOE (Potential flexibility to £70,000)
Robert Half is partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed global creative agency to recruit a Finance Manager to join its London-based finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an all-round accountant looking for a broad, hands-on role within a dynamic and entrepreneurial business. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll take ownership of financial reporting, revenue accounting, compliance, and business partnering activities across the organisation, along with direct management of one junior report.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Preparation and review of monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of a strong controls environment
- Revenue recognition and revenue accounting, including accrued and deferred revenue analysis
- Oversight of project accounting, WIP reviews, and profitability reporting
- VAT returns and wider tax compliance activities
- Cash flow management and forecasting support
- Management of AP and AR processes, including debtor reviews and collections
- Support external audits and statutory reporting requirements
- Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business
- Team Management of 1 direct report

About You
We’re looking for an accountant with strong all-round finance experience, ideally from an SME, with a solid understanding of revenue accounting.
Key requirements include:
- Experience managing month-end reporting and financial controls
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and revenue reconciliations
- Experience preparing P&L and Balance Sheet reporting
- VAT compliance experience
- Strong balance sheet reconciliation and controls background
- Excellent Excel skills and experience working with finance systems
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment
- Acquisition experience (A nice-to-have)
