Job Description We're looking for a Finance Manager to join our South West contract team based in the South West region. Location: South West - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required. Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to provide key financial support and insight to our South West contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with operational and commercial teams, delivering robust financial management whilst helping to shape the success of an important contract. You'll be joining a supportive environment where your expertise will make a real difference. What will you be responsible for? As a Finance Manager, you'll be working within the South West finance team, supporting them in delivering accurate financial reporting and strategic insight. Your day to day will include: Providing financial support and guidance to local and regional management teams Preparing and overseeing weekly and monthly reporting, including contract performance, cash forecasts and balance sheet reconciliations Partnering with commercial and operational teams to develop forecasts and provide insight on performance Supporting new contract tenders and mobilisations, establishing all financial reporting requirements Managing relationships with wider group functions and preparing client reporting as required What are we looking for? This role of Finance Manager is great for you if: You're ACCA/CIMA qualified or hold an equivalent professional qualification You have previous experience in a similar finance role, ideally within the utilities or construction sector You possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships You're confident in managing balance sheets, working capital and financial controls You're self-motivated and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
