BrandDelta is a high-growth, financially resilient market research business, empowering brands around the world to be their best. Its leading insight services are used by some of the largest agencies globally and some of the largest brands. Built on ethnography, fantastic teamwork, and a great deal of AI & software. It has teams in the UK and Portugal and is planning to establish a presence in the US in the coming 12 months.
Role Description
We are seeking a Finance Manager for Brand Delta UK. The position is ideal for a proactive individual with accounting qualifications and experience, who is comfortable balancing operational finance with driving process improvement, and supporting BrandDelta’s strategic choices.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Controls
- Handle day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare management accounts.
- Prepare and post journals; process monthly and quarterly sales invoices, supplier and subcontractor invoices; and perform periodic bank reconciliations.
- Prepare VAT submissions and support annual reporting, including R&D reporting.
- Manage and develop the skills of an FTE supporting this work.
- Coordinate with external accountants and if/as necessary with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.

Process Improvement & Systems
- Identify and help us drive improvements in financial processes and reporting.
- Maintain accurate and well-structured financial documentation and records.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare financial reports, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, including the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
Essential Criteria
Experience
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, Finance Manager or similar, with approx. 4–6 years of relevant experience working within a business finance role.
- Demonstrable experience in operational finance, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Knowledge & Skills
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems, particularly Xero.
- Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.

- Strong ownership and accountability.
- Confident and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

Desirable/Nice to Have Criteria
- Familiarity with international financial operations and multi-entity environments.
- Experience in software, market research, or agency/consulting environments.
- Exposure to M&A activities.
