Equifind is supporting a fast-growing energy platform with the hire of a Finance Manager. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the role is responsible for revenue accounting, settlements, reconciliations, forecasting and reporting across a growing portfolio.
You'll work closely with finance, commercial and trading teams to ensure revenue is accurately captured, reconciled and reported on. This is a highly visible role offering exposure to power markets, optimisation arrangements, capacity markets and long-term revenue contracts within a rapidly expanding business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to combine strong technical accounting skills with commercial insight in one of the fastest-growing areas of the energy sector.

Key duties include:
- Lead month-end revenue processes, including journal postings, accrued income calculations and balance sheet ownership.
- Ensure accurate accounting and reporting of all revenue streams, including optimisation, ancillary services, capacity market revenues and floor agreements.
- Partner with the Commercial team to analyse performance against budget and explain key revenue drivers.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes for revenue streams.

Application criteria:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Experience within power markets, battery energy storage (BESS), energy trading or optimisation environments.
- Strong understanding of revenue accounting, accruals, reconciliations and balance sheet management.
- Detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
