Your new company

A highly successful and expanding organisation within a dynamic and innovative sector is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its finance leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to play a key role in financial reporting, business performance, process improvement and strategic decision-making within a fast-paced and growing environment.

Your new role

As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the monthly financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting while supporting the wider finance function. You will lead the preparation of management accounts, provide meaningful analysis and commentary on business performance, and deliver financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions. You will be responsible for maintaining robust financial controls, monitoring costs and profitability, managing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies across the business. The role will also involve working closely with senior stakeholders throughout the organisation, overseeing key accounting activities, supporting external audits, contributing to group reporting requirements, and providing leadership, coaching and development to members of the finance team. In addition, you will assist with systems and process improvement initiatives, including ERP implementation projects where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
