PE-Backed Software SME | Finance Manager | Newly Qualified
Basingstoke | Hybrid | £55-60k
PE-backed software company is setting up for growth to the next level with new investment. Recruiting a high potential ‘all-rounder’ to help build out system and process structure across finops, reporting and FP&A.
You’ll be recently qualified with experience built across management accounting, financial reporting and planning. Still developing your expertise with a high ceiling, bringing high integrity and energy to deliver improvement.

The Role
You’ll be front and centre taking ownership for developing and improving the finance platform in readiness for growth. Closely supporting the CFO and wider senior leadership, you’ll take use initiative to deliver efficiency and insight, helping to shape this business.
- Month-end close, management accounts, variance analysis, commentary
- Budgets, forecasts, and cash flow forecasting
- Support preparation of board packs, investor reporting, and KPI dashboards
- Partnering senior leadership on financial and commercial performance
- Statutory accounts, audit, and tax

Profile
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Commercial intelligence and determination
- SME background with broad exposure
- Preferably tech sector
