About The Role
Here at Car Finance 247, we are currently recruiting for a fully qualified Finance Manager to join our professional services.
The Finance function is a driven, dynamic and high-performing team, led by an FD and FC with professional services backgrounds and more than 10 years’ experience in the automotive finance industry. Supported by qualified and part-qualified accountants and a strong Credit Control team, Finance plays a key role in providing accurate reporting, valuable insight and analysis across the business. As the wider group continues to grow, including businesses such as WarrantyWorks and Arcane AI, so do the opportunities within Finance.
What does the role offer?
This is a genuinely diverse role covering financial reporting, management accounts, FP&A and business partnering across Car Finance 247 and the wider group.
You'll have the opportunity to shape how the business understands its performance, producing management accounts and analysis that directly inform decision-making. Working in a fast-paced, owner-managed business, you'll need to be dynamic, flexible and commercially minded, with the opportunity to take ownership of analysis and projects that improve operational efficiency and support the continued growth of the group.
Responsibilities Include:
- Accuracy of accounting records and completion of key reconciliations across the group
- Preparation of management and statutory accounts
- Calculation of key accounting estimates and management of the external audit
- Financial planning and analysis to support group growth and investment decisions
- Business partnering with the CFO, wider finance function and business leaders across Car Finance 247 and group companies
- Identification and enhancement of controls and processes
- Producing clear, informed management information that supports decision-making at every level

About You
Required:
- Fully qualified accountant
- Dynamic, ambitious individual willing to develop and able to work in a fast-paced, owner-managed business
- Flexible, with the ability to manage different and changing priorities
- Ability to engage with senior management through excellent written and verbal communication skills, including IT literate (Excel, Word, etc)
- Organised, attention to detail and desire to challenge the status quo and improve working practices
Desirable
- Previous experience within an FCA regulated environment
- Power BI / SAS / SQL / CSS and HTML coding experience
- Confident using AI tools such as Claude or Microsoft Copilot to work smarter and drive efficiencies in day-to-day finance processes
