Meraki Talent is delighted to be supporting an established sustainability firm in Glasgow with their search for a Finance Manager on a permanent basis paying £40k - £50k. This is an exciting opportunity offering a clear progression path to Finance Director within a highly successful and profitable organisation truly making a difference.

The Role
This role will involve managing the finance function within an SME environment preparing monthly management accounts, managing the transactional finance function and supervising a finance assistant.
- Producing Monthly Management Accounts
- Cashflow analysis and reporting as required
- Purchase/Sales invoicing
- Payment runs
- Bank reconciliations and processing expenses
- Month end journals, including accruals, prepayments, payroll, fixed asset depreciation
- Cost V Budget variance analysis
- P&L and monthly reporting to the directors
- Control of credit card and petty cash
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- VAT return

Your Skills
- Experience in a similar role within an SME environment
- QBE, PQ or Qual
- Producing management accounts
- Transactional finance
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and technical skills
