Who we are 🩵

We’re IAG Loyalty, one organisation with two ambitious, growing divisions across Loyalty and Holidays. Each has its own goals, strategy and team, but together we’re united by a shared vision: to create a more rewarding world of travel and experiences.

Our Loyalty division is home to Avios, the global loyalty currency, enabling millions of members to collect and spend rewards across travel, retail and financial services.

Our Holidays division, including British Airways Holidays and Iberia Vacaciones, connects customers to thousands of destinations worldwide through seamless, end to end travel experiences.

We’re on an exciting journey of growth and transformation. We’re going places.

The Department

Our Finance function is committed to continuous improvement, innovation and integrity in everything we do, ensuring that it remains a trusted partner in achieving the organisation’s strategic goals. The department operates at the heart of IAG Loyalty, providing financial reporting, control, insight and governance across a complex stakeholder environment including IAG Group operating companies, Air Partners, Commercial Finance and wider IAG Loyalty teams.

The opportunity ✨

This is an opportunity to do far more than deliver financial reporting.

As Finance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming how finance operates at IAG Loyalty. Joining a team in the middle of an exciting transformation programme, you'll combine technical accounting expertise with a passion for improving processes, strengthening controls and helping build a finance function that's fit for the future.

  • You'll take ownership of a significant area of the business, working across reporting, controls, audit and stakeholder management while collaborating with colleagues across the Loyalty business, IAG Group and external partners.
  • Just as importantly, you'll challenge existing ways of working, helping reduce manual processes, and creating a more efficient, scalable finance operation.

If you're someone who enjoys understanding the bigger picture, questioning the status quo and leaving processes better than you found them, this is a role where you'll make a genuine impact from day one. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how the team operates as the business continues to grow.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This role is based out of our London office. We call our approach to hybrid working The Blend — it’s about giving you the flexibility to choose where you do your best work, while staying connected with your team and the wider business. This means you will be required to spend at least two days per week in the office, with the rest of the time working from home. You may also be required to work from one of our other office or partner locations, based on your role and 'to do' list.

What you’ll get up to 🌠

  • You'll lead finance transformation initiatives, continuously improving processes, controls and SAP configuration to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
  • You'll partner with Commercial Finance, IAG Group operating companies, Air Partners and colleagues across IAG Loyalty to resolve reporting issues and support business change.
  • You'll assess the accounting implications of new commercial propositions, preparing clear, accounting papers and recommendations where required.
  • You'll take ownership of financial reporting, controls and month-end activities for your area, ensuring accurate, timely and high-quality financial information.
  • You'll review balance sheet reconciliations, journals and financial reporting outputs, ensuring robust financial control across your area.
  • You'll lead internal and external audit activity for your portfolio, providing timely, high-quality responses.
  • You'll prepare cash flow forecasts to support foreign exchange hedging activity.
  • You'll help improve quarterly reporting processes, reducing manual effort while maintaining high standards of accuracy and governance.
  • You'll support and collaborate with other members of the Loyalty Financial Reporting team, sharing knowledge and helping create a culture of continuous improvement.

What we need from you 💡

  • You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with relevant post-qualified experience.
  • You'll have a track record of improving finance processes and controls, with evidence of making finance more efficient and scalable.
  • You'll enjoy understanding how things work, asking questions and challenging the status quo rather than simply following existing processes.
  • You'll bring strong financial reporting and financial control experience, including reconciliations, journals, month-end close and balance sheet management.
  • You'll be comfortable balancing strong technical accounting judgement with commercial pragmatism.
  • You'll have experience managing internal and external audits, providing robust evidence and building positive relationships with auditors.
  • You'll be confident building relationships across Finance and the wider business, communicating clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You'll be able to absorb complex information quickly and take ownership of your area with confidence.
  • You'll enjoy working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities can change as transformation programmes develop.
