Summary

OCO.eu recently provided funding to a newly established satellite broadband telecommunications company. As part of this investment, OCO is helping BRDY to recruit a Finance Manager on a 1-year FTC based at the OCO office in Paisley.

About Us

We are a newly established satellite broadband telecommunications company, with investor presence in Glasgow, with an ambitious mission to deliver high-speed connectivity to underserved and remote regions. Having recently secured the first stage of funding, we are entering an exciting period of rapid growth and are building a high-performing team to scale our operations across the UK and Worldwide.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join our leadership team. This is a pivotal role where you will help shape the financial foundations of a fast-growing telco in a cutting-edge sector.

You will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring financial discipline as we expand rapidly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day financial operations including accounting and reporting
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support growth plans
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic financial insight and guidance
  • Manage cashflow
  • Establish and optimise financial systems, processes, and controls
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, advisors, and financial institutions
  • Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators
  • Assist in launching into new markets

About You

  • Qualified/Part Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role, ideally within telecoms, technology, or a high-growth startup
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to support strategic decision-making
  • Experience with fundraising, investor reporting, or scaling businesses is highly desirable
  • Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Passionate about technology and automation.
