This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a finance professional to join a growing manufacturing business in Merseyside taking ownership of the finance function and managing one direct report

Client Details

Our client is a well-established manufacturing business.

Part of a larger group of manufacturing companies, the company has grown both organically and through acquisitions.

Description

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience).
  • Previous experience as a Finance Manager, or Financial Controller.
  • Strong financial reporting and management accounting experience.
  • Manufacturing, stock or inventory accounting experience would be advantageous.
  • Hands-on and capable of operating effectively within a dynamic SME environment.
  • Strong Excel and systems skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business.

Profile

A Successful Finance Manager Should Have

  • A strong background in accounting and finance within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in analysing financial data to drive strategic decisions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to lead and support a finance team effectively.

  • Temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to secure a long-term permanent position (Circa £60,000 initially on a day rate)
  • Immediate start available with a handover from the current Finance Manager.
